The American Royal is a charity with the purpose to provide scholarships, education, awards and competitve learning experiences that reward hard work, leadership skills and agrarian values.

In 2008, the American Royal contributed over $ 1.4 million towards these efforts.

20 amp outlet; responsible for your own extension cords. Please make sure all cords are 12 gauge to help alleviate power surges and outages. Please note that power sources are not located at each space. Up to 150 feet of extension cord may be necessary for your connection. Authorized user will receive tags with monitors enforcing activity. Teams are welcome to bring their own generator.

Band/Catering Vehicle Pass

This pass allows vehicle entry from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3. No vehicles (except those previously designated to park in team space) are permitted on the grounds from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This pass also allows the vehicle entry/exit from 11:00 p.m. Friday night to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Entry/exit is allowed from 11:00 p.m. Saturday night to 9:00 a.m. Sunday, October 4 as well. This is not a parking pass.

Unauthorized or illegally parked vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense, and a fine of $100 will be levied. If your vehicle is towed, please see the American Royal Security located in the Command Center inside the American Royal Building.THIS WILL BE ENFORCED.
All vehicles on premises must have proper parking credentials displayed at all times. Each pass is $25

Each team will receive three (3) parking passes that will allow them entry and exit to Liberty Lot (contestant parking lot) Friday and Saturday. If a team wishes to purchase additional parking passes in advance at a discounted rate, they may do so here. Each pass is $10 and there is a limit of 3 additional passes per team. Please note during peak times you may not have access to this lot. Peak times would be 4:00pm-8:00pm on Friday night

The American Royal provides toilets at strategic locations for use by the barbecue contestants and their guests. If you would like to lease private facilities for the dedicated use of your guests only, please enter the number of desired units below. This equipment will be in place and unlocked at noon on Thursday. Toilets will be serviced early Saturday morning if location guidelines are followed. (See Guidelines>>) Johnny on the Spot is the exclusive toilet supplier to the American Royal Barbecue.
